Two Lorain County men among 12 arrested Thursday in northeast Ohio human trafficking sting

Two Lorain County men were arrested Thursday by agents with the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force during an undercover operation targeting me who were allegedly trying to buy sex, Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson announced in a news release Friday. Charged with prostitution and possession of criminal tools were Ross Stahl, 40, of Elyria, and Terrance Vanderbosch, 56, of Avon Lake. They and the other 10 defendants were charged in Bedford Municipal Court. Led by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department and organized under the attorney general's Organized Crime Investigations Commission, the task force conducted an operation Thursday in Warrensville Heights in Cuyahoga County. The operation also was intended to identify potential victims of human trafficking, and seven potential victims were assisted, Wilson said. Also arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools were Taylor Black, 39, of New Franklin; Todd Hively, 47, of Canfield; Uhuru-Kenyatta Hunter, 56, of Canton; Gary Medvetz, 59, of Silver Lake; Viktor Moskaluk, 57, of Parma; Ritesh Patel, 51, of Mentor; Timothy Quinn, 48, of Tallmadge; Forrest Theken, 24, of Coventry Township; Mitchell Warholic, 63, of Cleveland; and Jeasung Yoo, 57, of Euclid. Multiple local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies and social services agencies providing resources to alleged human trafficking victims were involved in the operation. "Ohioans should be shocked at the prevalence and proximity with which human trafficking is occurring," Wilson said in the news release. "This scourge is happening within our midst every day. We will continue working with our partners to identify traffickers, hold offenders accountable and protect vulnerable Ohioans."
