Linda Carol Bauer

Linda Carol Bauer, 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 4, 1948, to Paul Kolomichuk and Dorothy Green. Linda married her high school sweetheart, Joseph S. Bauer, on October 10, 1970 at St. Thomas More Parish. Together, they shared 46 years of marriage, building a family filled with love. Above all else, Linda was a devoted mother to her two children, Molly and Joe. Being a mother was one of her greatest joys of her life. As her family grew, she embraced the role of grandmother to her two beautiful grandchildren, Colin and Paige, who brought her immeasurable happiness and pride. Outside of her life at home, Linda enjoyed spending time with her friends at bingo and trivia nights at the Avon VFW. She dedicated time to her community as a volunteer of the St. Bridget Church and School where her children attended, and also served as a member of the Muirwood Village Board for three and a half years. Some of Linda's most treasured memories came from traveling with family. She especially loved trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, and many other vacations and the holidays that brought everyone together. The greatest lesson Linda carried on throughout her life was the importance of love and family. Her family was always at the center of her universe, and she believed that one of life's greatest gifts was having a close-knit family who loves and supports one another. Through her devotion as a wife and mother, her love as a grandmother, and the friendships she nurtured throughout her life, Linda leaves behind a lasting reminder of the importance of staying connected and cherishing the people who make life meaningful. Linda is survived by her daughter, Molly (Jess) Gamiere; son, Joe Bauer; grandson, Colin Gamiere; and granddaughter, Paige Gamiere; her sisters, Sharon (Harv) Warner, Rona (Glenn) Brown; sisters-in-law, Pat Bauer, Jeanne Bauer, and Lee Armbruster; and brother-in-law, Phil Bauer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Bauer; father, Paul Kolomichuk; mother, Dorothy Green; five brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law. Services will be private.
