SANDUSKY — Drake Hooks threw four touchdowns, two to Dawson Coates, as Vermilion beat Sandusky 39-20 on Friday in non-conference action. The Sailors defense came to life early when Dan Roy had a sack in the end zone. The safety gave the Sailors (4-1) the lead for good. Vermilion will have a chance for a 5-1 start when it faces winless Norwalk next week.
