Elyria woman charged with trafficking girl, 15, for sex in central Pennsylvania

An Elyria woman was being held in a central Pennsylvania jail, facing multiple felony charges for allegedly trafficking a 15-year-old girl for sex. WJAC Channel 6 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania reported that Carla Yvonne Fisk, 58, was arrested and being held on $50,000 bail. She was charged in a criminal complaint filed Aug. 20 with one count each of statutory sexual assault of a minor 11 years or older; corruption of minors when the defendant is 18 or above; endangering the welfare of children; and trafficking in individuals, according to Pennsylvania court records reviewed by The Chronicle-Telegram. All are felonies. A preliminary hearing is Thursday in Blair County, Pennsylvania, according to court records. The TV station reported that the teen girl was an alleged runaway found living with a man at his home in the city of Altoona in Blair County. Fisk allegedly claimed to be a relative of the girl and told police she had followed her to Pennsylvania. Fisk allegedly admitted seeing the girl "engaged in sexual acts" with the man, then also allegedly admitted she had been there for 10 days during which she failed to report the alleged sexual assaults, WJAC-TV reported. The man allegedly told authorities Fisk told him the girl was older than she actually was. Fisk also allegedly told police the teen had gotten pregnant, WJAC-TV reported. The girl was not named or identified in media or court reports. The Chronicle does not name alleged victims of sexual assault. Fisk currently is on two years probation in Lorain County following an October 2025 conviction for attempted possession of cocaine, a misdemeanor, in Common Pleas Judge Giovanna Bremke's courtroom. Fisk was arrested on misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charges in 2015. The assault case was dismissed by a judge in Elyria Municipal Court when the alleged victim failed to appear andt he disorderly conduct charge ended in a 30-day jail sentence, court records show.
