Donald Edward Wozniak

Donald Edward Wozniak was born November 11, 1944, in Lorian, Ohio. He was a life-long resident of Avon Lake, Ohio. Don was a proud marine and served his country during the Vietnam War. Don passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026, after complications from open heart surgery. He retired from Avon Lake Power Plant in 2005 after thirty-five years of dedicated service. Don was a youth football and baseball coach and was a previous officer of the Avon Lake Boat Club. He volunteered as a driver for Meals on Wheels and served as a union officer. Don was a proud author of two novels. He was the son of the late Leonard and Marie (nee Novotny) Wozniak and brother to the late Sharon Mason. Don is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eileen (nee Parks); son, Dan Wozniak of Sullivan, Ohio and daughter, Lauren Wozniak of Chicago, Illinois. He was a brother to Ray (Jeanette) Wozniak, brother-in-law to Ruthann Kasewell, Janet Stefan, Nancy Yeager and George Parks. He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
