David Lamar Davis III.

David Lamar Davis III passed away Monday, March 2, 2026. He was Born November 22, 1980. My heart is rejoicing you made it and are now in your much deserved castle. And are in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Baptized in His name, raised as a Christian, my son always put others before himself without a second thought. A graduate of Elyria High School Class of 2000, he excelled in Sports. He took home ribbons and trophies in basketball, baseball, football, and track. He coached Football while residing in Columbus, Ohio, bringing home a championship for the Columbus Cowboys.He was a loving and devoted father. There was also the the love of his life, that he would tell me 'she should have been my wife'.Surviving are his mother, Pauline Evans Davis; sister, Tanya M. Ross; son, David A. Davis; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.Those before him are his grandfather, Frank Evans of Detroit, Michigan; grandmother, Elva Ross of Elyria; aunts, Rachel Ross Jackson of Elyria and Debby L. Eshun of Akron; uncle, Sam W. Noble of Alabama; 3 great-aunts; 4 great-uncles; grandparents, David 'Pops' Davis Sr. and Barbara J. Davis of Sandusky, Ohio; and father, David Lamar Jr.
