Elyria High School Class of1966 reunion planned Elvria High School Class of 1966 is celebrating its 60th graduation anniversary. Materials will be provided for participants to create their own notebook, Preregistration required. - Nine steps to writing your family history 2-3 p.m. at the Lorain Main Library. The steps will help you transform your information into a narrative to share with family or publish as a book. Steps will be shared in order throughout the year via these workshops that can work as standalone sessions or as a complete series. Sunday - The Brownhelm Historical Association is hosting author Kelly Boyer Sagert 1-3 p.m. at the Brownhelm Station Church open house at 1355 Claus Road, Vermilion. Refreshments will be offered. The event is free and open to the public. Tuesday - The Avon Garden Club meets at 6:30 p.m., with program starting at 7 p.m. at the Orchid Room at Miller Nature Preserve, 2739 Center Road, Avon, and feature Amy Goletz of Avonlea Native Plant Gardens and Inn talking about bees. The public is welcome to attend. - Digital literacy 1-3 p.m. March 17, 24, 31 and Thursdays March 19 and 26 at the South Lorain Library branch. The session gives direct access to a professional Techne Digital Navigators who will walk you through every step, answer all your questions and have you leaving the training feeling more confident with every click of the mouse.
