Mary Jane Tabor

Mary Jane Tabor, 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at O'Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville. She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville most of her life. After graduating from North Ridgeville High School in 1966, she served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force as a disbursement accounting specialist. After being discharged in 1975, she then went on to teach English as a second language. Mary Jane was a member of Cathedral of Life in North Ridgeville. She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Nicole Fredere of Saugatuck, Michigan; nephews, Stephen and William Hlavinka; and several dear friends including Kathy Groene. Preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Eileen Tabor; sister, Elizabeth; brother-in-law, Anton Hlavinka; and her long-time friend, Janice Linden. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2026 in Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville with Pastor Mike Payne officiating. Service will be livestreamed on Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial with full Military Honors by U.S. Air Force and VFW Post 9871 Honor Guard will follow in Ridgeville Cemetery.
