'Same Time Next Year' onstage Workshop Players will present "Same Time Next Year'' by Bernard Slade, directed by Michael Attali, at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5, 6, 7, 13 and 14 with matinees at 3 p.m. Feb. 8 and Feb. 15. Avon Garden Club sponsoring scholarship The Avon Garden Club is inviting high school seniors residing in Avon to apply for its annual $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship is open to students majoring in a course of study that aligns with the Avon Garden Club's mission of stewardship of the earth and its natural resources. The postmark deadline for submitting the completed application by mail is March 16. 'Discovering Dinosaurs' at Miller Nature Center The Lorain County Metro Parks will present, ``Discovering Dinosaurs'' from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 1 to Feb. 28 at the Miller Nature Center, 2739 Center Road, Avon. Admission is $4 per person; Miller members and children ages 2 and younger admitted free. Explore dinosaurs among the tropical plants. Heart & Sole walking challenge North Ridgeville Heart & Sole health collaborative invites the community to participate in its fourth annual indoor walking challenge from Feb. 2 to Feb. 27. All ages and abilities are welcome. To participate, attend indoor walking at one of two locations — LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville, 5-7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 8:30-10:30 a.m. Fridays; or the North Ridgeville Academic Center, 34620 Bainbridge Road, North Ridgeville, 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Enter through door 15 (main entrance.) No walking Feb. 10, Feb. 19 and Feb. 26. Sign in at the indoor walking table each time you attend and provide your name and email (or phone number). Participant names will be entered into a random prize drawing for every indoor walking event attended (for example, attending 10 indoor walking events earns 10 entries into the drawing). Three winners will each win one $25 gift certificate to a North Ridgeville business. Heart & Sole will email or call the winners on March 6. Auditions for 'Harvey' The Workshop Players will hold auditions for "Harvey'' by Mary Chase at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 and 10 at Workshop Players Theatre, 44820 Middle Ridge Road, Amherst. Keystone Hall of Fame seeks nominations The Keystone Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Keystone Athletic Team Supporters, is now accepting resumes and applications for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The Hall of Fame is open to applications for any athlete or team from Keystone High School, as well as the former LaGrange High School and Penfield High School. Athletes/teams will not be considered until 10 years after graduation, Class of 2016 is included this year.
