Food Main Street Lorain's 8th Annual Cookie Crawl, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 29 in downtown Lorain. Over 30 downtown businesses will be handing out a delicious mix of cookies. Santa will greet visitors at The Palace Theatre and the Grinch will be wandering Broadway. There will be hot cocoa stations, a kids T-shirt contest and a free shuttle. Cookies will be sold at $15 per pound and are available in the Fellowship Hall. This year's annual Cookie Walk will be held in conjunction with the North Ridgeville Visitors Bureau 'Holiday On The Ridge' city wide event day. Freedom Nation ANA Toys for Tots Christmas breakfast, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at 410 Middle Ave., Elyria. Admission is $10 donation or one unwrapped toy per person. Tickets are required for everyone attending: $18 per person (ages 3 and up), and children 2 and under are free. Miscellaneous Lorain County Metroparks Holiday Lights, 5:30-9 p.m. Nov. 28-Dec. 21 (Wednesdays through Sundays only) at the Carlisle Visitor Center walking trail, 12882 Diagonal Road, LaGrange; drive-thru, Carlisle Equestrian Center, 13630 Diagonal Road, LaGrange. There will be cookies, hot chocolate and popcorn available for purchase inside the visitor center. There will be a "Wildlife Giving Tree" at the Carlisle Visitor Center, featuring items needed to care for the animals at Carlisle and other LCMP facilities.
