Terrance 'Terry' Lee Brown

Terrance 'Terry' Lee Brown, 67, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025. He was born the son of the late Robert E. Brown and Patricia J. (Kindler) Brannock on February 10, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. Terry attended Fairfield High School in 1975. He was a member of FFA. Terry was a devoted outdoorsman and hardworking man. He spent many years working as a machine operator at National Molded Products, where his dedication and strong work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues. Outside of work, Terry found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, always ready for the next trip into the woods or out on the water. He also had a passion for auto racing, enjoying the thrill of the sport. His family, friends, and all who knew him will deeply miss his presence but will cherish the memories they shared with him. Terry is survived by his siblings, Bryan (Kimberly) Brown, Debby (Jim) Kurtz, and Shellie (Wade) Elking; stepbrother, Tim (Shelley) Brannock; nephews, Devin Brown, Evan Lewis (Joann), Matt Lewis (Evann); nieces, Ashley Smith (Chuck), Jenna Elking, and Elizabeth Spence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Susan Lynn Brown; nephew, Christopher Kurtz; stepfather, Frank Brannock; and stepbrother, Kevin Brannock. Visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. in Turner & Son Funeral Home. Immediately following, a dinner will be held afterwards at Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie #1161, 126 Governor Trimble Pl., Hillsboro, Ohio.
