Sharon L. Edling

Sharon L. Edling, 81, of Medina, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025. She was born to the late Maynor 'Bud' Emerson and Layola 'Sally' (Wonder) Krugman March 13, 1943, in Lorain, Ohio. Sharon loved birds and reading when she wasn't tending to her various plants and flowers in the garden. During her lifetime, she ventured to almost all 50 states along with two foreign countries while traveling with her late husband, Elmer, and his career with IBM. Sharon is survived by her children, Kelly Felton (Scott), and Troy Edling (Deborah); her granddaughters, Emily Gabalski (Tyler), and Sara Felton; and her brother, Jack Krugman. She was also expecting to welcome her first great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Elmer Edling in 2020; her son, Todd Edling; and her sister-in-law, Lori Krugman. Family will receive friends Friday, February 7, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. in Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, Ohio followed by the funeral service. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Medina Center Cemetery in Medina, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
