Avon police Friday, Nov. 1 8:54 a.m. — Enterprise, 33666 Lear Industrial Parkway, stolen vehicle. Saturday, Nov. 2 9:11 p.m. — Truxton Place, accident with injury. Anthony Propri, 48, Oakwood Drive, Olmsted Township, cited with misdemeanor charges of DUI, DUI refusal and failure to maintain reasonable control. Officers responded to a two-car rollover crash in the area of Truxton Place and Montrose Way. Police said Propri's car hit a parked, unoccupied car and rolled over. He was taken to a nearby hospital by the Avon Fire Department and cited. Sunday, Nov. 3 6:47 p.m. — Interstate 90 westbound to Colorado Avenue, accident with injury. Aarion Jackson, 27, Lexington Avenue, Lorain, arrested on a felony charge of improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and two misdemeanor counts of endangering children. Officers responded to a crash with injuries in which the two cars had pulled into a nearby McDonald's parking lot. The occupants said they were hurt but declined transport and medical attention. Police said two children in Jackson's car were not in booster seats and he was armed with a gun. He was arrested, booked and taken to Lorain County Jail. The female driver, who was not named in a police report, was cited with failing to have required child restraints in the car and also on an open weapons charge through the Lorain Police Department. 11:51 p.m. — Meijer, 1810 Nagel Road, trespassing. Officers responded to a trespassing complaint at the store. Monday, Nov. 4 3:54 p.m. — 2100 block Lake Pointe Drive, fraud. An officer took a fraud report. There were no suspects identified. Tuesday, Nov. 5 2:37 p.m. — Walmart, 35901 Chester Road, theft. Larry Massengill, 46, Eastlawn Street, Lorain, cited with theft, a misdemeanor. Officers responding to a theft complaint found Massengill in the parking lot and issued him a summons to appear in Avon Lake Municipal Court. Wednesday, Nov. 6 8:13 a.m. — Speedway, 1835 Recreation Lane, assist other agency. Officers assisted the Lorain Police Department in chasing a car that was reported stolen in Elyria and being driven by a woman. During the pursuit, police said the car entered the parking lot of the gas station and hit several gas pumps before coming to rest at a pole next to the air pumps.Police said the woman driving got out of the car and ran but was arrested and taken away for medical evaluation. She was not identified in a police report. 8:39 a.m. — Circle K, 36071 Chester Road, traffic complaint. Colby Bosley, 33, Briarwood Lane, Scottsville, New York, cited with misdemeanor marijuana possession and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. An officer responded after a car was reported driving erratically on Interstate 90 before exiting and parking at the convenience store. Bosley was cited with misdemeanor charges.
