John M. Muriello,

John M. Muriello, 92, a life resident of Lorain, passed away at Kingston of Vermilion Monday, August 12, 2024 after a brief illness. John was born in Lorain, December 7, 1931 to the late Marco and Louise Muriello. He was a 1950 graduate of Lorain High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Throughout his life, John was a carpenter by trade who retired in 1994 from the Muriello Construction Company after 40 years in the construction industry. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Valerie Muriello of Lorain; daughter, Linda A. Muriello of New Jersey; two grandsons, John (Amy) Muriello, and Michael (Samantha) Muriello; a granddaughter, Genna (Gabriel) Medina; and many great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents; John was preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sharon Muriello; former wife, Darleen Muriello; his brother, Tony Muriello; sisters, Mary Novak, Mickey DiGintonio, and Antoinette Manilla; and his many dear friends. Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m., Friday at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, Amherst entrusted with arrangements.
