Lorain County Strategic Plan task force meetings set July 9 to Aug. 15 (UPDATED)

Some of the task force meetings will be held at Lorain County Community College's Wellington Center at 151 Commerce Drive in Wellington. The organizers of the five-year Lorain County Strategic Action Plan have created a number of task forces to get into the details of each of the five topics discussed during recent workshops and seminars. The task forces will meet at four locations over five weeks from July 9 to Aug. 15. All five task forces — one each on topics including innovative industry and economic development; natural resources; transportation, housing, and workforce development; and education — are open to the public and membership also is open to anyone who would like to join.
