Holiday closure list

Lorain County holiday closures Republic Services trash and recycling customers: There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on Monday or Jan. 1. Regular pickup will be delayed by one day for both weeks. Rumpke customers: There will be no service on Monday or Jan. 1. Service will be delayed one day both weeks, and will return to the regular collection schedule the following week. Amherst city offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. City offices will also be closed Jan. 1 and Jan. 2 for the New Year's holiday. Avon city offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. The offices will also be closed on Jan. 1 for New Year's Day. Avon Lake city offices will be closed on Monday and Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Grafton village offices will be closed Monday for the Christmas holiday. Offices will also be closed Jan. 1. Trash pickup will be delayed a day due to the holiday hours. Elyria city offices will be closed today and Monday, and will be open for a half day between 8 a.m. and noon on Friday, Dec. 29. LaGrange village offices will be closing at 11 a.m. today, and closed Monday for the Christmas holiday. Village offices will also be closed Jan. 1. Lorain City Hall will be closed today and Monday in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It will also be closed Jan. 1. All Lorain Public Library branches will close at 6 p.m. today and reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The Lorain County Administration Building will be closed Monday and Tuesday. The Lorain County Justice Center will be closed Monday and Tuesday. The Clerk of Courts Title Office in the county administration building also will be closed Monday and Tuesday, and on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2. The Lorain County Collection Center, 540 S. Abbe Road in Elyria, will be closed Saturday, Monday and Dec. 30, as well as on Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Lorain County Transit will not provide service on Monday for Christmas, or on Jan. 1. North Ridgeville city offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. The offices will also be closed Jan. 1 for New Year's Day. Oberlin city offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. City offices also will be closed Jan. 1 for the New Year's holiday. There will be no delay in trash pickup during the holiday hours. Sheffield Lake city offices will be closed today and Monday for the Christmas holiday, and Jan. 1 for New Year's. Sheffield village offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. The offices will also be closed Jan. 1 for New Year's. Wellington city offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. City offices will also be closed Jan. 1 for New Year's. Trash pickup is expected to be delayed a day. Vermilion city offices will be closed a half-day today and all day on Monday and Jan. 1 in observance of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, respectively.
