There are many restaurants and companies that will toast to your latest trip around the sun, so I thought I'd share a few of my favorites. Keep in mind that most companies will require you to join an email list or rewards program a few days in advance of your birthday, so if you have a few weeks to go until your big day, get a jump on it. Starbucks I'm not a coffee drinker. In fact, I can't even drink fancy drinks like frappes, lattes or mocha anything. Sephora Sign up to become a Sephora Beauty Insider (it's free to do online or in-store), and you'll get a free birthday reward mini beauty bundle! This reward is valid any time during your birthday month and offers trial sizes on name-brand products. On my last birthday, I was able to grab a small makeup kit that had primer, blush and mascara. Ulta You can join Ulta's Ultamate Rewards in-store or online. You'll get points every time you shop and a free birthday gift. They will send you an email, at the beginning of the month offering you 2X bonus points on all purchases for the month. Plus they offer a beauty freebie during the month of your birthday. To keep it fresh, this birthday freebie changes quarterly. DSW The DSW VIP Rewards program offers you a $5 birthday offer each year. While $5 won't buy you a pair of shoes, DSW also offers socks and accessories in stores, which is perfect for this coupon. This offer will arrive by email and valid any day during your birthday month. CVS If you have an ExtraCare card at CVS, you'll get a special gift during your birthday month. Keep an eye on your receipt, email or CVS app as you'll get $3 ExtraBucks Rewards to spend on whatever you want. Such a treat!
