Alyce M. Reisdorff

Alyce M. Reisdorff (nee Barber), 86, of Eaton Township, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the Western Reserve. She was born February 11, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska. Alyce treasured spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired from Western Enterprises after 20+ years as a machinist. Alyce enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, word-games, bingo, baking, and her cat, Jasper. Survivors include four daughters, Diane of Sheffield Lake, Vickie Cook (Dave) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Cindy Vegh (John) of Amherst, and Kathy George (Ron) of Lakewood; two sons, Earl (Jane) of Okemos, Michigan, and Robert (Lori) of Avon; additional survivors include 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; her sister, Lola Nadine Covey and brother, David (Delores) Barber both of Nebraska, and sister-in-law, Marge DeMont (Gerald) of New Jersey. Alyce was preceded in death by her husband, Donald 'Bim'; her parents, David and Ceytha Barber (nee McBride) and brother, Jim. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
