North Ridgeville police Tuesday, Aug. 23 9:35 a.m. — Harris Drive, fraud. A 46-year-old North Ridgeville man reported that he paid a deposit on a new garage door in September 2021 and had yet to receive it. Monday, Oct. 25 1:29 p.m. — Xtreme Performance, Center Ridge Road, theft. The business reported a break-in and theft. Tuesday, Nov. 1 3:25 p.m. — Mi Bella Casa, Center Ridge Road, theft. The business reported a theft. Thursday, Nov. 3 3:24 p.m. — Rae Apartments, Center Ridge Road, lost/found property. A 20-year-old Rocky River woman reported the loss or theft of a temporary Ohio license plate. Tuesday, Nov. 8 8:05 a.m. — Willowbrook Lane, fraud. A 48-year-old North Ridgeville man reported bank fraud. 1:15 p.m. — Ianelli Autocars, Lorain Road, lost/found property. The business reported a lost license plate. Wednesday, Nov. 9 6:10 p.m. — Capri Lane, fraud. A 60-year-old North Ridgeville woman reported a scam involving gift cards. Friday, Nov. 11 1:02 p.m. — Expert Auto Sales, Center Ridge Road, stolen vehicle. An officer took a report of a stolen vehicle at the business. 5:38 p.m. — Rae Apartments, theft of a motor vehicle. Residents reported unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. 6:45 p.m. — Young Explorers Montessori School, Center Ridge Road, traffic complaint. Warren Halstead, 40, of North Olmsted, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of physical control under the influence. A caller reported two men who appeared "out of it" were parked alongside the school in a car that had driven up over the curb. Both men allegedly were under the influence and Halstead was arrested, issued a citation to appear in Elyria Municipal Court, and taken to a hospital by the North Ridgeville Fire Department. 11:35 p.m. — North Ridgeville Police Department, assault. Kameron Grimes, 19, of Robert Court, was arrested on misdemeanor assault, theft and criminal damaging charges. Grimes' girlfriend, a 20-year-old North Ridgeville woman, accused him of assaulting her inside her car, stealing her purse with her phone and wallet inside, then damaging her car as she tried to get away from him. 11:44 p.m. — Rae Apartments, criminal damaging. Solomon Robinson Jr., 19, of Elyria, was arrested on a misdemeanor criminal damaging charge and warrants through two different agencies. A 50-year-old woman and her 29-year-old daughter got into an argument about Robinson allegedly being in the apartment and trying to climb out a window.
