Elyria police Friday, Oct. 7 7:44 p.m. — McDonald's, Broad Street, trespassing. Trynell Davis, 30, of 16th Street, was arrested on a misdemeanor criminal trespassing charge. Officers were called because Davis, who had been banned from the property since May 2021 and cited with criminal trespassing several times, was inside the restaurant refusing to leave. He was arrested and taken to the Lorain County Jail. Saturday, Oct. 8 7:39 p.m. — Sprucewood Inn, Lorain Boulevard, obstructing. Dale Cantu, 22, and Sincere Price, 19, both of Lorain, were arrested: Price on misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and two traffic violations, and Cantu on misdemeanor charges of furnishing false information for a traffic citation, obstructing official business, a sea tbelt violation, and a robbery warrant out of St. Claire County, Illinois. An officer stopped a 2018 Kia sedan for having a broken taillight and found Cantu without a seat belt. Cantu told one officer his name was "Andrew Williams" but "Andrew" was spelled "Andre," while Price told a different officer he was her child's father and his name was "Andre Williams." Officers then called Price's mother, who owns the car, who told them her grandchild's father was "Dale." It took police an hour of talking to the couple before Price and Cantu finally admitted who Cantu really was, and they were both arrested and taken to the Lorain County Jail. Sunday, Oct. 9 1:13 p.m. — Home Depot, Market Drive, drug investigation. Jason Siembida, 34, of East Broad Street, and Christina Siembida, 36, of Winckles Street, were arrested: Jacob Siembida on a felony fentanyl possession charge, misdemeanor charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia, and two warrants; and Christina Siembida on misdemeanor charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers found the siblings acting suspiciously and possibly intoxicated outside the store. Jacob Siembida had a syringe and half a gram of fentanyl in a cigarette pack in his pocket and Christina Siembida a spoon, bottle cap and other drug paraphernalia in her bag. Both Siembidas were banned from Home Depot and taken to the Lorain County Jail. 3:53 p.m. — Middle Avenue and 16th Street, weapons violations. Teirra Whitfield, 30, of Tedman Court, was arrested on a felony charge of having weapons under disability and misdemeanor charges of wrongful entrustment of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Officers stopped Whitfield's 2011 Nissan Altima because her driver's license was suspended and she had a warrant for her arrest out of the Marietta, Georgia, Sheriff's Office. Ebony Clark, 21, of Tedman Court, was driving on a suspended license and cited with a misdemeanor. Whitfield admitted there was an empty 9mm handgun in her trunk and a box with 46 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, 2.7 grams of marijuana, and several marijuana pipes were also in the trunk. Clark was cited and released and Whitfield taken to the Lorain County Jail. 11:30 p.m. — West Rec, Lowell Street, drug investigation. Alonzo Kaspar, 44, of Euclid, was arrested on a felony cocaine possession charge and misdemeanor charges of driving under DUI suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing in a park. An officer patrolling West Rec saw a Kia Forte parked in the south lot with Kaspar and 22-year-old Danielle Lemasters of Cleveland standing in front of it. They were warned about being in the park after hours and began to leave when the officer saw a torn grocery bag in the grass with suspected cocaine in it. Officers learned Kaspar's driver's license was suspended and the other half of the torn grocery bag was found in his car along with drug paraphernalia. A total of 0.8 grams of cocaine and three cut straws were seized, and Kaspar was taken to the Lorain County Jail. Lemasters was cited with trespassing in the park and transported home. Monday, Oct. 10 11:22 p.m. — Speedway, Lorain Boulevard, operating a vehicle impaired. Christa Brown, 43, of Lorain, was arrested on a felony charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor charges of having weapons while intoxicated, DUI and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Officers were called to the gas station at 895 Lorain Blvd. for a report of a woman drinking alcohol in her car in front of the store. Brown's car was parked outside the front doors but not in a parking spot. She appeared intoxicated and there was an open 24 oz. can of Bud Light in her car's cup holder. Brown at first said there were no guns in the car, but then admitted there was one and that she had a concealed carry permit. A loaded green and tan Smith & Wesson Bodyguard was found in her purse. Brown was arrested and taken to the Lorain County Jail.
