Menu consists of outdoor grilled chicken, roasted corn, homemade potato salad or cole slaw, dinner roll, homemade dessert and a beverage. The Lake Erie Crushers are offering $5 off home box tickets with a shoe donation on any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night game during the month of August. The Lorain County Historical Society second annual Hickories on Tap, 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at 509 Washington Ave., Elyria. Sample a variety of local craft beers while enjoying music and food truck fare on the spacious museum grounds in Elyria's beautiful Washington Avenue Historic District. Event ticket holders will receive tickets to redeem for 10 4-ounce beer samples. There will be several drink options in addition to beer. Additional sample tickets will be available for purchase during the event. Breweries participating include Avon Brewing Co., Bascule Brewery & Public House, ESP Brewing Co., Railroad Brewing Co., and Unplugged Brewing Co. Food trucks will be on site (food truck fare is not included in the ticket price). Seating is limited, so it is suggested that attendees bring their own folding chairs. There will also be raffles and a 50/50 raffle. The museum will be open for tours. Tickets are $35 per person ($30 per LCHS members). There is a $10 designated driver ticket option for non-alcoholic drinks only.
