Pamela A. Wilcox

Pamela A. Wilcox, 69, of Elyria, died Saturday, July 23, 2022 after a lengthy illness. She was born August 12, 1952 in Elyria. She was a 1971 graduate of Elyria High School and received an associate degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Lorain County Community College. Pam served with the U.S. Army for two years, attending Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) for training and later worked as an operating room technician in Korea. After her time in the military, she worked at a nursing home in Oberlin and then for the prison system in Grafton. Pam is survived by a son, Darnell Wilcox of Elyria; brothers, Eric A. (Octavia) Wilcox of Liverpool, New York and Robert Gary (Shelia) Wilcox of Midland, Texas; other siblings include, Gregory Strong, Alison Sceeles, Kathryn Terry and Shawn Wilcox and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jean Wilcox; grandmother, Evelyn Yarbrough and a brother, Leonard B. Wilcox. Friends will be received Friday, July 29, 2022 from 11 a.m. until the time of a 12 Noon service at Dicken Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria with Chaplain Beverly Beidleman officiating.
