Baldwin Wallace University BEREA — Students from our area were among 23 students who participated in BW's faculty-led study abroad program in Iceland during the spring 2022 semester. The following local students participated: LaGrange: Damian Buehner, majoring in neuroscience.North Ridgeville: Devon Stewart, majoring in neuroscience biology and biology. BEREA — Students from our area were among 21 students who participated in BW's faculty-led study abroad program in Germany during the spring 2022 semester. The following local students participated: Columbia Station: Kristen Miller, majoring in theatre acting and directing and English. Lorain: Mia Diaz, majoring in biology. Oberlin: Ezra Ohly. BEREA — Local college students were inducted into the Baldwin Wallace University chapter of Nu Rho Psi, National Honor Society in Neuroscience, in the spring 2022 semester. The following students were inducted: Lorain: Manimone Sengvoravong, majoring in neuroscience. BEREA — Local college students were inducted into Baldwin Wallace University's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2022 semester. Bob Jones University GREENVILLE, South Carolina — Francesca Peters of Grafton was one of nearly 300 incoming students participated in Summer Orientation 2022 at Bob Jones University on June 17-18 or June 24-25. Clarion University of Pennsylvania CLARION, Pennsylvania — Gillian Romanchok, Avon, earned at least a 3.5 GPA to be named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Chatham University Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — Izzy Nagel Russell of Lorain was named to the Chatham University School of Health Sciences Dean's List for the Spring 2022 term. Columbus State Community College COLUMBUS — Mitchell Fedders of Avon Lake was named to the 2022 Spring Semester Dean's List at Columbus State Community College. Edinboro University EDINBORO, Pennsylvania — Edinboro University recognized some local students who were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester. Avon: Hannah Darcy Sedlak. Elyria: Abigail Helena Monn. North Ridgeville: Rachel Elizabeth Bauer. Fairfield University FAIRFIELD, Connecticut — Emily Schillinger of Avon Lake graduated from Fairfield University in May. Georgia State University ATLANTA, Georgia — Kirsten Fehlan, Wellington, earned a law degree (Juris Doctor) from Georgia State University's College of Law at the end of the spring 2022 semester. Hamilton College CLINTON, New York — Amy Zhai, Avon Lake, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College on May 22, in a Commencement ceremony concluding the college's 210th year. A psychology major, Zhai graduated cum laude with departmental honors in psychology and completed a thesis titled "Individual Modifications to the Preschool Life Skills Program." Ithaca College ITHACA, New York — Leah Aulisio-Sharpe, Oberlin, graduated from Ithaca College with a BA in Journalism. Oregon State University CORVALLIS, Oregon. — Local students made the Scholastic Honor Roll Spring 2022 have been announced by Oregon State University.
