LCCC hosts Family Fall Fests

Lorain County Community College will host community Family Fall Fests at its learning centers in Wellington, Lorain and North Ridgeville. The events are free and open to the public. At all three events, attendees can enjoy kids activities, games, food, health screenings and an open house, and learn about educational pathways including the University Partnership. Family Fall Fests will be held at: • Wellington Learning Center, 4-7 p.m. Wednesday. It is at 151 Commerce Drive. The event will feature live music by local artist Ava Rowland. Register at lorainccc.edu/wellington. • Lorain Learning Center at City Center, 4-7 p.m. Oct. 5. It is at 201 W. Erie Ave. The event will feature pumpkins, a firetruck and raffles. Register at lorainccc.edu/lorain. • University Partnership Ridge Campus, 4-7 p.m. Oct. 20. It is at 32121 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville. The event will feature indoor trick-or-treating with costumes, pumpkin decorating, a firetruck and free flu shots. Register at lorainccc.edu/ridge. Registration for the festivals is recommended but not required. All students, employees and visitors will be required to wear a mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
