Robert E. 'Bob' Pyles

Robert E. 'Bob' Pyles, 78, of LaGrange, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 1, 2021 following a brief illness. He was born April 8, 1943 in Orton, West Virginia and graduated from Normantown High School in 1963. Robert worked as a Journeyman Electrician, retiring in 2009. He loved working outside in his garden and also had a passion for music, especially country and bluegrass gospel. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Cheryl (nee Duelley); daughter, Gina Rider; grandchildren, Anjella (Sam) Kobasic and Ronda Yeager (Emily Boyer) and great-grandchildren, Gabriel (Little Man) and Gracelyn (Roly Poly) Kobasic. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby; parents, Albert and Opal; sister, Cherokee Gardner and brother, Jack Pyles. Per his wishes, there will be no services. The best way to honor him would be to pay it forward and do a good deed for someone.
