UPDATE: Bodies of missing adults found in Lake Erie (VIDEO)

UPDATE: Alaina Camacho's body has been recovered. The Lorain County Sheriff's Office confirmed both the car and Camacho were pulled from Lake Erie. The cause and manner of Camacho's death has not been determined. An autopsy will be scheduled in the next couple days. More information will be released from the Sheriff's Office at that time. The body of missing 20-year-old Sheffield Township man Nathan Orona was found in Lake Erie off the Hot Waters boat launch Sunday morning. Orona and Camacho have been missing since Feb. 1. This is a developing story. More details will be posted here as information becomes available. UPDATE: Crews continue to search Monday. LORAIN — The body of missing 20-year-old Sheffield Township man Nathan Orona was found in Lake Erie off the Hot Waters boat launch Sunday morning. Orona was last seen Feb. 1 leaving the Sheffield Estates apartments in a car with friend Alaina Camacho, 18, of Cleveland. The whereabouts of Camacho and the gold 2004 Honda Accord in which they allegedly left the apartments are still unknown. Lorain Police received a phone call from a fisherman on a pier about 11:06 a.m. Sunday regarding a potential human body the fisherman saw floating in the lake. The Lorain County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau and the Lorain Police Department arrived on the scene to investigate the report, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office. The United States Coast Guard Base Cleveland was then contacted to assist the investigation. Nearby waters were searched following the discovery of Orona, but activity was suspended due to adverse weather conditions. High winds created rough waters throughout the day. The search is expected to resume when conditions are more favorable for search and rescue personnel, the Sheriff's Office said. A cause of death has not been determined as of Sunday evening, and a determination is expected following an autopsy from the Lorain County Coroner's Office. Coroner Dr. Frank Miller said the autopsy is scheduled for Monday, and it is not currently known how long Orona's body was in the lake prior to being found. Next of kin for both Orona and Camacho were notified Sunday of Orona's death. Through a liaison from the Cleveland Family Center for Missing Children and Adults, Orona's family asked for privacy. They intend to make a public statement at a news conference Friday in Cleveland. Multiple organized searches for the two had been conducted throughout the areas of Sheffield Township, Lorain and Cleveland since they disappeared. No additional information was available Sunday.
