Chicken paprikas carryout dinner and bake sale, 3-5 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Hungarian Reformed Church, 1691 E. 31st St., Lorain. Carryout dinners consist of a quarter-chicken, dumplings with gravy, two stuffed cabbage rolls for $14 per dinner. Please specify white or dark meat. Extra items for sale: dumplings with gravy (1 lb.) $5 each; Haluska/Cabbage & noodles (1 pound) $5 each; extra gravy, if available, $2 a container. Bake sale (with Palacsinta) and an assortment of pastries will be available. Orders may be placed with the church office from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday by calling (440) 277-8177. Reservations will be accepted and confirmed via the church office, until Friday, April 16. Only confirmed orders will be honored. Payment may be made by cash, check or VENMO. No credit cards at this time. NO walk in sales. Hungarian Easter sausage sale, noon- 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27 at the Community of Faith United Church of Christ, 9715 East River Road, Elyria. Orders available in one pound and two pound packages. Cost is $6 per pound. Please specify size of package when ordering. Lorain County Free Clinic wish list: Black pens, large and small Sharpies, regular-size sticky notes (assorted colors), rubber bands (size 33), envelope moistener with adhesive, shelf-stable food and hygiene items for Blessing Box. Call (440) 277-6641 to arrange donation pickup or drop off. American Legion Post 12 family breakfast, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every second and fourth Sunday at 393 Ohio St., Elyria. Eggs, bacon, sausage, omelets your way and biscuits with sausage gravy are the menu items, with varied prices. Open to the public. St. Mary Parish Easter dinner, noon-3 p.m. (or until dinners are gone) Sunday, April 4, at 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no sit-down dinner.
