Gerald Richard 'Dick' Weese

Gerald Richard 'Dick' Weese of Vermilion, was born January 14, 1953 in Cowen, West Virginia and on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, he passed away peacefully in his home. He battled emphysema for over 10 years. He worked at Hart's asphalt for 20 years before retirement. His love was for cars, he was a good mechanic and loved to help anyone in need. He leaves behind his wife, Vivian L. Weese (nee Younger); his son, Scott Weese; daughter, Karin Weese; sisters, Brenda Brock, Marlene Dennison, Darlene Murray, Elizabeth Haymond and Pamela Deichler; brothers, Frank Weese, Ronnie Weese and David Weese; nieces and nephews; along with great-nieces and nephews and plenty of friends. If you knew Dick you knew he was a friend to everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald F. Weese and Mary M. Weese (nee Sutton); sisters, Linda Parker and Patricia Weese and nephews, James Weese and Billy Joe Brock. At this time the family asks you all to celebrate him in your own way. The family will not be having services per his wishes. They will however have a Celebration of Life get together at a later date.
