Albert F. Krausher

Albert F. Krausher, 101, Wakeman, passed away and went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Gaymont Nursing Home, Norwalk. Albert was born April 23, 1919 in Wolseley, Saskatchewan, Canada, to the late Philip and Elizabeth (Shultz) Kraushaar. Albert emigrated from Canada to Elyria in 1955, with his wife and five of his children. Albert was a Tool & Die Maker by trade. He worked at Ford Motor Corporation, Bendix Westinghouse and several years at Airborne Manufacturing, Elyria. When he retired from Airborne Manufacturing, he started his own business, Krausher Machining Incorporated. He sold his business in 1992 and then spent his time 'tinkering' at home and traveling to Canada and across the USA, with his wife, Ruth V. Krausher. Albert was a member of Camden Baptist Church in Kipton, where he served as Deacon. He was a devoted Christian, helping his family, in any way he could, and was very involved in volunteering for his church. In his last years, he attended First Baptist Church, Wakeman. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Velma Krausher (Kemp) in 1991. He is survived by six children, Sandra Krausher of Nova, Dale (Barbara) Krausher of Wakeman, Victoria (John) Bober of Wakeman, Brent (Darlene) Krausher of Lorain, Rod (Carol) Krausher of Wakeman and Debra Fisher of Norwalk, as well as 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Due to the Covid-19 virus, there will be no viewing or service. Evans Funeral Home, Norwalk, is handling the burial, with family attending the interment.
