Dorothy Mae Wright

Dorothy Mae Wright, 91, of Lorain, passed away at home following a lengthy illness on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. She was born December 24,1928 in Montgomery, Alabama and had lived in Lorain for over 69 years.She was a member of Living Word Church in Lorain and was on the church's mother board. She enjoyed watching Cops and Court TV shows and BET was her favorite television station.Dorothy will be missed by her daughter, Marcella Wright; granddaughter, Michelle Wright; grandson, Antwan Wright; great-granddaughter, Sierra Carter; great-grandson, Jeffery Ousley; great-great-granddaughter, Londyn Anderson; great-great-grandson, Josiah Cheers; nephews, James Williams and Joseph Washington and a host of other loving relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by the love of her life, John "PaPa" Wrice; father, Wiley Wright; mother, Rosa Desker; sister, Julia M. Washington; niece, Sandra Washington; great-niece, Dyair McNiel and great-nephews, Michael and Kenneth Washington.A walk through viewing will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 from 11 a.m. until time of private family services at 12 Noon at Living Word Church, 658 E.
