She is a friendly girl who simply needs a quiet home environment to open up in. Due to Libras shy nature, she shouldn't be placed with kids who are 12 years old or younger. She was brought in with Lily, and they get along great with one another, but she is not a fan of dogs. Libra is beautiful and is looking for someone to be patient with her. Every cat that I've ever had used to drink from the sink, and yesterday sweet Rita showed me why she's just absolutely one of my favorite cats. Rita has a most unique, exotic look about her. She is a slender cat with a triangular face, almost Siamese like. She is a "talker," too! Rita loves attention and being held. She does not like to be confined and begs for you to take her out and see how wonderful she truly is. I'm not supposed to pick favorites, but Rita is very high on my list. Lily is 7 years old and has been in a home most of her life. She came in with Libra, and they would do well in a home together. Lily is nervous around young children so she shouldn't go home with kids under the age of 12. She also would prefer to be in a cat only home, meaning no dogs! Lily is a friendly girl, who enjoys relaxing and laying around. She is understandably shy right now as she adjusts to being in the shelter. Lily will need a quiet home that she can open up in. She also has long beautiful fur, so her adopter will need to know how to maintain her coat. Lily is eager for her roots to grow into a new home, one where she can live peacefully and one where she will be loved. Multiple Breed Rescue AllyBREED: Chihuahua mix; SEX: Female; SPAYED: Yes; shots current; AGE: 11 years old; SIZE: Small; ADOPTION FEE: $200 Ally came to the rescue because sadly, her owner had to go to a nursing home. She is a sweetheart. She is house-trained, crate-trained, walks well on a leash and travels well on car rides. We don't know how Ally does with cats, but she gets along with the other dogs in her foster home. Ally is very affectionate and loves being petted. She is overweight right now and is on a diet. SashaBREED: Pit bull terrier mix; SEX: Female; SPAYED: Yes; shots current; AGE: 5 years old; SIZE: Medium; ADOPTION FEE: $250 Sweet, laid-back Sasha is house-trained and crate-trained . . . and quiet! Her foster family has yet to hear her bark. She is overweight, so she is on a diet and learning not to beg for people food. She knows her name and will come when called, sits and follows basic commands. Sasha is good with kids, likes playing with other dogs and ignores the cats she has met. Funds for medical care come from adoption fees and donations. Elvis Elvis is a hunk a burning love. He may appear shy at first but will melt in your arms. He loves being held and stroked. He enjoys just about every toy he's seen, especially wands. He is an 8-week-old domestic long-haired brown tabby. His features and size of his paws resemble a Maine Coon. Connor and Willoughby These brothers are very adventurous but also extremely friendly. There isn't a toy they wouldn't play with but will just as easily cuddle with you or each other. They are 8-week-old domestic short-haired white kittens. Ozzie and Izzy These siblings are snuggly kittens. Izzie is a little shy as you approach her but once you are holding her she is a purr machine. Both kittens are calm but still playful. They like to be held and love cuddling with each other. They are both 8 weeks old. Izzie is a female domestic short=haired tortie, and Ozzie is a male domestic short-haired black kitten. Flit Flit is a 12-week old domestic short-haired orange tabby. He loves playing with other kittens, humans and toys. His favorite toy is a laser! He would never refuse a pet either. He will rub all over you to encourage you to keep the pets coming.
