Patricia Bancroft Andress

Patricia Bancroft Andress passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2020. She was born October 6, 1937 in Warren, eldest of two daughters, to the late R. Richard and Anne Bancroft.Patricia graduated from Warren G. Harding High School, attended Wittenburg University, where she met her husband, Donald F. (Andy) Andress. She then transferred to Kent State University. She was previously employed by Brandau Jewelers. She was a volunteer at Elyria Memorial Hospital and Mercy Hospital.She was preceded in death by her parents, R. Richard and Anne Bancroft; her only sibling, Karen and nephew, Richard Julian.She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald Andress; children, Jeffrey R. Andress (Carrin ), Jodi Andress George (David), J. Bradley Andress (Inger) and Mackey Andress (Jennifer); grandchildren, Brett Andress, Bryan Andress, Bailey Andress, Alex George, Abigail George, Hanna Andress, Ingrid Andress, Lars Andress, Bria Andress, Britta Andress, Bailey Kushner, Morgan Andress and Chase Andress; great-granddaughter, Quinn Kushner. She was loved by her husband, children and adored by her grandchildren.A memorial service is planned at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain, OH 44053.Arrangements were handled by The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Elyria.
