Laina covers Elyria. She has worked for The Chronicle-Telegram since May 2019. She graduated from Sinclair Community College and then Kent State University with a degree in journalism. She's a native of Southwest Ohio, but now calls Northeast Ohio home. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her cat Cookie and reading a good book or journaling.
